CONTEST: SHARE YOUR AHIMANAWA EXPERIENCE ON INSTAGRAM AND TAG @AHIMANAWA.CO.NZ TO GO IN TO DRAW TO WIN A FREE WEEKEND TRIP FOR YOU & TWO FRIENDS TO WAIOKAKA LODGE.

Guests that stay at Waiokaka Lodge, Upper Ripia Hut, Lower Ripia Hut or Te Matai Maunga Hut between 31. March 2022 and 16 December 2022 can enter the competition by uploading a photo, video, reel or story to Instagram and tagging @ahimamawa.co.nz. The content must feature their experience during their stay at one of the properties listed above. Any eligible entries will automatically go in the draw to win 1 x weekend for 3 people at Waiokaka Lodge – includes 2-nights accommodation and return helicopter flights from Poronui base.

The Share your Ahimanwa Experience on Instagram Competition as outlined above (hereinafter, the “Contest”) is a local competition organised by Ahimanawa Holdings Limited (hereinafter, the “Contest Sponsor”) (a registered organisation operating at 65 Churchill Drive, Taradale Hawkes Bay). The Contest starts on 1 March 2022 at 12:00a.m. NZ time and closes on 16 December 2022 at 11:59 p.m. NZ time (hereinafter, the “Contest Period”). 

1. Eligibility
   The Contest is open to guests who are over the age of 18 years old and stayed at Waiokaka Lodge, Upper Ripia Hut, Lower Ripia Hut or Te Matai Maunga Hunt during the Content Period.
   
   
2. How to participate in the Contest
   Eligible Participants can enter the competition by posting a photo, video, reel or story to their Instagram and tagging @ahimanawa.co.nz. Eligible participants can enter the draw a maximum of 1 time. (a “Qualifying Entry/Entries”).
   
   
3. Prizes
   There is one prize consisting of 2 nights accommodation at Waiokaka Lodge for three people, including return helipcopter flights with HeliSika from the HeliSika base at Poronui. The winner has the option of transferring the two nights accommodation and helicopter transfer any of the following huts: Upper Ripia Hut, Lower Ripia Hut or Te Matai Maunga Hut. The two nights’ accommodation will depend on availability, if no dates are available at Waiokaka Lodge the winner has the option of booking accommodation at either Upper Ripia Hut, Lower Ripia Hut or Te Matai Maunga Hut. Once the booking has been confirmed, all bookings details are final and cannot be cancelled or change booking dates. Names can be transferred a maximum of 1 time per person (3 people in total). Any additional costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to: transport to/from Poronui Base, food or any equipment are the responsibility of the winner. The prize has no cash value and cannot be sold.
   
   
4. Prize Draw
   A random draw will be held from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period to select a winner. The draw will take place on Tuesday 20 December 2022 by 11:59pm NZ Standard time at INSERT ADDRESS. The winner will be selected at random using an electronic generator. The odds of winning will depend upon the total number of Qualifying Entries. The winner will be contacted within 7 days of the draw. 
   
   
5. Claiming of Prizes
   To be declared a winner and be able to claim the Prize, the Eligible Participant selected by random draw will be contacted by direct message on instagram by the The Contest Sponsor or their representative.
   
   If the selected Eligible Participant cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the initial contact, another Eligible Participant will be selected by way of random draw using an electronic generator. Before being declared a winner, the selected Eligible Participant will be asked to sign a release and waiver form confirming, without limitation, that:

7. he/she has read the Contest rules and regulations and complies completely;
8. he/she accepts the Prize as awarded;
9. he/she acknowledges the Contest Sponsor’s right to publish his/her picture, Instagram username and name without compensation other than the Prize offered;
10. he/she releases and agrees to hold harmless of all liability The Contest Sponsor, HeliSika and their subsidiaries and affiliates.
    
    
11. General Terms and Conditions
    The Contest Sponsor will not be held responsible for any internet interruptions, unclear telephone, e-mail or direct messages or any late/incomplete/erroneously completed Prize claims or release and waiver forms.
    
    All entries are subject to verification by The Contest Sponsor and may be disqualified if they are received outside of the Contest Period, or if they are incomplete, illegible, irregular, submitted through illicit means or if they contain any false statements, or do not conform to or satisfy to any condition of these Contest rules and regulations.
    
    Eligible Participants agree to be bound by all decisions of the Contest Sponsor regarding the Contest which shall be final and binding in all respects.
    
    Eligible Participants agree that the Contest Sponsor is not liable for any incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information or for any error or malfunction of any kind in connection with the Contest. If the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way, without any further obligations to Eligible Participants and Friends. Furthermore, if the Contest Sponsor determines, at its sole discretion, that any entry compromises the integrity of the Contest, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify the entry at issue or terminate the Contest in its entirety without any further obligations to Eligible Participants. The Contest Sponsor further reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual from the Contest and to ban the individual from any future contest of the Contest Sponsor who it finds or believes to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; to be acting in violation of the Contest rules and regulations or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
    
    By entering this Contest, Eligible Participants agree to release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor, their subsidiaries and affiliates, media partners, advertising and promotional agencies and each of the foregoing entities’ respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the Contest or, if declared a winner, the Prize awarded and use thereof.
    
    The Contest is subject to New Zealand rules and regulations.
    
    The Contest Sponsor shall not be liable to Eligible Participants under or in connection with the Contest for any indirect, economic or consequential loss or for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of use or loss of reputation.
    
    f any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions contained in these Terms and Conditions will be not affected or impaired in any way.
    
    These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with and governed by the laws New Zealand and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
